The Company of Writers is a creative community for authors at all stages of their careers. We offer supportive workshops, manuscript consultancies, and developmental editing services for writers turning an idea into a story or a first draft into a polished manuscript ready for submission.

Our January 2025 workshop at the Darien Public Library included fourteen writers. We’re now at work on projects including an historical fiction set in the fall of the Roman Republic and a young-adult urban fantasy in early twenty-first century Detroit.
